1989 W126 500SEC Coupe. Anthracite Grey Metallic over palomino leather, M117 5.0 V8 ECE-spec (220kw). Australian-delivery. 132,000 km, full service history at MB Mascot and then MB Mosman from 1997 onward.

Fully optioned from new: ASR traction control, heated front seats, electric rear sunblind, factory cruise, ABS, original Becker Mexico cassette head unit. Original 15-inch 15-hole alloys (no aftermarket wheels at any point).

I've owned the car since 2003 and it's been the second car the whole time. Garaged in Brighton-Le-Sands, never been wet (wife has the W126 sedan as the daily). Original books, tool kit, jack, both keys.

Selling because the W111 220SE Coupe is taking the garage space for restoration work and Mrs K wants the 500SEC moved on rather then parked in the open. $32,000 firm.

Chris - the W126 500SEC Coupe is one of the great Mercedes-Benz designs of the 1980s, and the ECE-spec 5.0 V8 with ASR traction control is the most desirable late variant.. your $32,000 with 132,000 km and full Mascot/Mosman service history is below current market (European trade is €28,000 - $42,000 - for the same chassis with documented Australian provenance). This will sell quickly to a serious collector..
