MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS - PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING: classicmercforum.com.au membership is reserved for verified members of a Historic Vehicle Scheme (HVS) recognised car club in NSW AND currently registered keepers of a Mercedes-Benz manufactured between 1955 and 2000 inclusive. To register an account you will be asked to upload (1) your current HVS club membership card or letter of standing from the club secretary, (2) the cover page of your most recent comprehensive insurance certificate showing the registered vehicle, and (3) a clear photograph of the vehicle including its number plate. Effective immediately, the classicmercforum.com.au Buy/Sell/Swap subforum has been permanently suspended following correspondence dated 11/03/2021 from the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) regarding allegations of unlicensed financial activity, specifically concerning the structured handling of deposits and 'club plate transfer fees' between members. We are cooperating fully with ASIC and have engaged Mavroyiannis & Partners (Hurstville) for representation. We do not at this time admit any wrongdoing.
