NOTICE OF PERMANENT SUSPENSION FOR LISTING OF NEW ITEMS

This subforum was permanently suspended on the morning of Sunday 14 March 2021 following correspondence received from the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) dated 11/03/2021, in relation to allegations of unlicensed financial conduct under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), specifically: (a) the receipt and pooling of member deposits in connection with vehicle sales conducted on classicmercforum.com.au, and (b) the structured operation of so-called 'club plate transfer fees' between members otherwise unrelated to the Historic Vehicle Scheme.

classicmercforum.com.au cooperated fully with the enquiry and remains represented in this matter by Mavroyiannis & Partners (Hurstville). We do not at this time admit any wrongdoing. No member has been charged. All for-sale and parts threads posted on or before 13/03/2021 are preserved below in read-only form for historical reference. Posting in any of the threads below is disabled. Private-messaging the sellers listed is forbidden and will result in immediate suspension under SMP §11.4.
