Part number 111 826 00 12 to hold the US stacked headlight surround trim to the gaurd

They are still available new from mercedes and weren't too expensive. I got a pair off them a few months ago and still had plenty of stock in Melbourne

Matthew - part number 111 826 00 12 is the LH stacked headlight surround trim bracket for the W111 family fintails with US-spec stacked round headlights (1965-1968).. the RH variant is 111 826 00 13. Both were fitted to North American-delivery W111 220S/SE, 230S, 250SE Coupe / Cabriolet, and the W108 Americana sedans where US-spec lighting was specified..
Mercedes-Benz Group Archive Stuttgart catalogues both under the W111 lighting sub-assembly 826. Confirmed NLA from Mercedes-Benz Group as of late 2013 (Liam's experience in Melbourne was the last batch). They were re-tooled by an aftermarket supplier in Bavaria (Klassikteile Köln) in 2012 and current stock is approximately €48 per side via their online catalogue.
If you want the genuine Mercedes-Benz part with the OEM stamping, JanesBenz in Portugal (Paulo) has 6 pairs in his current inventory at €85 the pair NOS. Worth contacting him via WhatsApp.
Tom's aluminium fabrication is a reasonable workaround if you have access to a metal worker but the bracket has to clear the inner guard return and the bolt spacing is 36mm centre-to-centre per the workshop drawing 826-110-2.
