Gerard - this is a museum-grade NOS part.. the Behr-stamped 109 501 06 01 radiator was the factory unit for the W109 300SEL 6.3 (M100 6.3L V8) 1968-1972. RHD-specific units were produced in significantly lower volumes - approximately 380 RHD radiators were ever made, of which Australian-delivery 6.3s recieved approximately 47 across the model run..
The yellow VORSICHT warning sticker on the upper tank is the original German shipping label - "Überdruck-Kühlsystem - Öffnen nur unterhalb 90°C" (pressurised cooling system - open only below 90°C). Confirms factory packaging untouched.
$2,100 is at the lower end of the international NOS market - ive seen these sell on European auction at €1,800-2,400. Concours 6.3 owners reading this should not hesitate.

Confirming Billy's assessment. This is the radiator I would buy if my W109 was a 6.3. Mine is the 300SEL air-suspension 3.5 so the radiator is a different unit (109 501 03 01).
For the buyer reading: this radiator will not fit any other W109 variant. 6.3 only.

Sold to a 6.3 owner in Adelaide. $2,100 + $185 freight via Northline. Marking sold. Thanks Billy and Hugo for the validation - both were quoted to the buyer to support the price.
