Chasing new Injectors W108 280SE M130 located Gold Coast $$

W108 280SE M130 injectors set of 6 reference

Pulled mine out at the weekend - 4 of 6 spraying instead of misting. Need a full new set of 6 if anyone has them. Original Bosch preferred but will look at reproductions. Budget around $1,200 the set.

Reference photo is the set I removed - the spray pattern is the problem not the bodies.

Simon - the M130 mechanical injector is the most common consumable on W108/W109 280SE/SEL.. new genuine Bosch sets are NLA (discontinued 2011). Three options:

Re-conditioned Bosch via JanesBenz Portugal - approximately €580 the set of 6 ($880). Paulo's stock turns over quickly.
New reproduction Bosch-spec from Spi Performance USA - $480 US ($730). Acceptable for daily use, some reports of slightly off spray pattern at idle.
Service your existing injectors via Diesel Injection Specialists Brisbane - they have a flow bench rated for the M130 mechanical CIS. $280 for the 6, includes new pintles, springs, and seal kits. Turns a 4-of-6 spraying set into a 6-of-6 misting set.

If your injector bodies are physically straight and the spray pattern is the only issue, option 3 is the right answer for a fraction of the budget. The new injector lead time from Portugal is also typically 6 weeks..

Update - Diesel Injection Specialists Brisbane $280 as Billy quoted. 6 of 6 misting on the flow bench. Picked up Saturday. Engine runs smooth now. Saved approximately $600 vs buying new.
