Boonie not a Barra mate.. M117 5.0 from a 500SEC. bolts to the W108 K-frame no mods needed (Viktor mentioned that in his Barra thread earlier). Will have 240hp factory in a W108 shell. Keeping it Mercedes..

Rylan - $200 for the M108 + 722 box together is below scrap weight value.. for anyone reading: a running M108 (even after 10 years of storage) is the right donor for the rebuilds at Leo's thread and similar. The M108 short block is interchangeable with the M129/M130 (same casting, same crank, different head).
Whoever buys this should plan on a 6-week recommission - new fuel pump, new lines, fresh oil and coolant, rebuilt carbs (kit $175 the pair per Duncan's thread). Total cost-to-running approximately $750. Result: a functional M108 spare engine for a quarter of the rebuild cost. Excellent value if you have a W108 250S in your near-term project list..
Sold to a young guy in Riverwood $200 cash, picked up Monday. M117 conversion starts next weekend. Will post a build thread when I get going. Cheers Boonie + Billy.
