Hey boys, long time lurker first time poster.

Name is Evangelos but everyone calls me Boonie. Marrickville Sydney. My uncle Steve is on here as Uncle_Steve - the bloke who started H.A.R.D.A.N.A.Legends in 07.

I just inherited - no wait Steve is not dead lol - I just got given Steve's 67 250SE. He has the W113 280SL and said the 250 is mine if I look after it.

I have been reading every thread on this site for like 18 months learning what stuff is called. I figured it was time to actually post.

The car is amazing. Cream over palomino, M129 with the twin Solex carbs, 4 speed auto. Stalls after 15 minutes warm but Steve says that's normal. I am keeping it forever.

Boonie welcome mate. mrs B and I have known your uncle Steve since 2008.. the 250SE is the right car for the right boy. Stalls after 15 minutes is the carb pre-heat circuit on the M129 - Steve will know what I mean..

Welcome Evangelos. The 250SE M129 carb pre-heat issue is the rubber Y-pipe between the intake manifold and the air filter housing. Berny is correct. Steve will know.

That said: when you post the actual symptom thread seperately (which I expect you will, because that's what we do here), bring a video of the engine running for the 16th minute. The diagnosis depends on whether it stalls at 15 minutes exactly or whether it surges and then dies. Different problems.
