It is with great sadness that I confirm the passing of our honourary member Ross Mitchell on 28 July 2019. Ross was 82.
Ross was an ESLCCMC member from our founding in 1989 through to his retirement from active membership in 2018. His '63 220SE Cabriolet was a fixture of the First-Sunday Cruises for 29 years. Anyone who attended an ESLCCMC event in the 90s or 2000s will remember Ross at the wheel of that car, always with a smile.
Memorial gathering: Saturday 17 August 2019, 11 AM, the Bondi Pavilion forecourt. Ross's family have asked any member with photos or stories to bring them. The 220SE has been retained by his daughter and will be at the gathering.
Ross was a giant of our community. Rest easy.
