Hi all which leads should I use on my W108 M130 280S? Lots of info but can't quite match size or fit. Am running factory Bosch points and NGK plugs. Thanks!

Blue silicone plug leads (aftermarket option)

Evan - for the M130 with Bosch points and NGK plugs the correct leads are Bosch FGB104 (7mm copper-core, suppression-resistor end caps).. mercedes-Benz part number 000 159 64 18. $145 the set of 6 from Mercedes-Benz Australia, $95 from Pelican Parts..

The Magnecor leads in your photo are a high-performance silicone-jacketed 8mm lead designed for high-output ignitions. They'll work on an M130 with points but the spiral-wound core is mismatched to the points-and-coil setup - you'll see slightly hotter spark but no measurable performance gain. If you've already bought them, keep them. If you haven't, the Bosch FGB104 is the correct match for your ignition specification.

NGK plug for the M130: BP6ES gapped to 0.7mm. Confirmed in the workshop manual for 1965-1972 m130 inline-six.

Billy - haven't bought the Magnecors yet (was holding one for the photo). Ordering Bosch FGB104 + new NGK BP6ES set from Pelican. Cheers..
