[LOCKED] 2021 ASIC matter - members FAQ.

On 14 March 2021 the ASIC enforcement action resulted in the permanent locking of the Buy / Sell / Swap subforum. This is the official FAQ for H.A.R.D.A.N.A.of.Legends members regarding that event.

Q: Why was the subforum locked?
A: ASIC determined that the subforum constituted a public marketplace within the meaning of the Corporations Act 2001 §770A, requiring registration and compliance that this forum cannot provide.

Q: Will it ever reopen?
A: No. This is a permanent decision. The subforum is preserved in read-only archive for historical reference.

Q: Can H.A.R.D.A.N.A.of.Legends members buy and sell privately?
A: Yes! Private transactions between identified individuals are not within scope of the ASIC matter. Use direct PM, telephone, or the M.A.L.A.K.A.S. meet in person.

Q: What about the M.A.L.A.K.A.S. subforum?
A: M.A.L.A.K.A.S. is the social and technical subforum for trusted members. It is not a marketplace and is not affected by the ASIC matter. Members may discuss cars, parts, and members' personal projects but no public listings.
