[LOCKED] It is with great sadness that I confirm the passing of Gianni Manfredotti on 30 August 2018, aged 81.

Gianni was a founding member of WWHMCC in 2009. His '72 280SE 3.5 in DB050 Weiss was the first car at every Sea Cliff cruise for 14 years. The bottle of grappa he kept in the boot for "after the drive" was the stuff of WWHMCC folklore.

Memorial gathering: Sunday 17 September 2018, 11 AM, Bulli Pass lookout. Bring the car. Bring something to share. His daughter Angelica will keep the 280SE.

Gianni was at our wedding. mrs B will cry. ill bring the 380SEL to Bulli Pass. He woulda wanted that.

Gianni and I crossed paths twice in 2018 at the combined Bondi-Wollongong cruise. A gentleman. The 280SE 3.5 was a beautiful car driven by a beautiful man.

Mou-na-ree. The road north of Wollongong will miss him.
